My oven element has blown (rear one around the fan) and i need to replace, but there also is a small hole in the oven internal caseing, left of the element. Should there be a temperature probe next to the rear element?
If so can i have the link to order one. Thanks.

Re: Baumatic b180 oven
The oven cabinet is likely built for several different models, which means that the case could have been built with an extra hole or two that aren't used on your model. This a normal manufacturing technique for mass-product factories.
I see from the Baumatic website that several of their models do use a meat thermometer probe, but even if you bought a probe you couldn't use it your oven. Your model doesn't have the correct circuit board and control panel that the oven needs to use the probe.
In any case, if you need to order parts from the manufacturer or would like a downloadable Owners Manual for your model, they are available at this website link:

Hope that helps! ;)

It sound like the heating element burned out. Check the element and see if there is a burned spot or blister somewhere along the element. If so the element will need replacing.
Could be both parts are faulty from symptoms you describe.
The indicator light should not be on if it is in the off position, this would suggest the thermostat is faulty.
On the other hand, if the element is faulty, then obviously, there will be no heat
To be certain if the element is faulty or not, then you need to test the element with a meter.
The oven element has failed, you need to fit a new element.
It is a straight forward repair to do.
Remove inner rear panel of oven, you will see the round element at rear.
Unfasten element, detach wires, and fit new element.
Refit rear panel, and test.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
If the fan is working in the main oven and there is no heat, then it will be a faulty element.
Remove the cover at rear of oven
and you will see the round element. remove it and replace with new one.
Plz rate my solution .
Thanks.
assume a fan oven.does fan turn and oven light come on? if so problem is the circular element.
if no fan and no oven light, then clock probably needs setting - this will be in instruction book. clocks sometimes go wrong but not often. if clock is faulty, a cheap repair is to bypass the clock so auto function no longer works
