My samsung m520 screen has been on and off again freezing and locking to the point it becomes a white screen. sometimes i can get it to come back, others i cant. i dont know how i have got my normal screen to return. and its happened 3 days ago for about 13 hours. so far today its been about 12 hours. it still works, like i can send and receive txt (tho i dont send cuz i cant see the screen) and i can still make and receive calls. please help!
The issue you are having deals with the "flex cable" connected to the motherboard of your phone to the LCD screen. This cable is very important, because it transfer pixels so that you can view your handset and operate it. Over excessive opening and close the slider, can wear in the flex cable to cause the white/garbled screen. It's not your fault, but the manufacturer and their effort to fail to make a device that can withstand excessive sliding. Check with your local service & repair store. my phone has just started to do this as well. i am really just about to get a different phone, i would think that they would have at least thought about fixing the flex cable to where you can slide it alot cuz thats the only way to use your phone pretty much..
UGH!!! I have this problem too!!!! Its sooo annoying! I have no clue how t fix it! Any ideas how?!
