I am using this printer Epson LX-300+ connected to a pabx system but I dont know how can I change the serial port settings from the printer it self.
Make sure you have at least 10 sheets of paper loaded.
Turn the printer off for at least 5 seconds, hold down the Tear-Off button, turn it back on, then release the button when the language menu starts printing.
After the language menu prints, verify the left and right Font light are off and the Pause light is on (for English). If not, press the LF/FF button until the lights are lit in this order. Press the Tear-Off button to select English.
Once the current settings print, press the Tear-Off button to enter setup. Follow the directions to change the serial port settings.
Start --> Control Panel --> Printers and Faxes --> Right click on your printer (Epson LX-300+) and left click on Properties -->Look for the tab that says "Ports" and you can change it from there
