If you wrap the headphone around your iPod, after a while, it may bend a pin in the headphone jack, causing no contact to be made, therefor one side of music. You can try to bend it back with a pin, or order a new ******** www.ifixitcom.

Headphones were working, now they are not

If you get sound coming in and out or crackling when wiggling the wires, there is probably a poor connection at either the plug end or the buds themselves.

They should come apart right where the metal meets the plastic, just below the buds themselves - be careful, one set like that I took apart were actually surface-mounted to the housing, there weren't any leads to repair...

I have a problem with earbuds or headphones, when I plug the earbuds in it only plays on my right side of earbuds.

Hey...that's the exaxt same thing that happened to me. On the same side too.

If you've had it for awhile the only thing I can suggest is replace it.

I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING! HELP!

That has happened to me before, what happened was where you input the earphone jack was broken, no matter how many different headphones i tried none worked. Now I understand this doesn't help, but it might save a lot of time.
Although one short short term thing i did find out though, is that if you push the headphone jack to the side, sometimes you will receive a little sound.
