Question about Food Processors

Need a replacement bowl for my Kenwood Chef

The model number is A902, which I think is a Kenwood Chef Excel.
My question is do bowls for the A901 fit the A902?

I need proslicer/grater attachment 8 AT340 (includes 7 cutting plates) as reflected in manual Chef and Major KMC5XX - KMM7XX series. where can I obtain it and the prices involved

I have an Excel that has the D shaped bowl but the base of it is round. Since the Excel does have a round base you can fit any existing bowl onto the Kenwood including their newer stainless steel bowl.

How to take out stuck chef bowl

I've not seen a bowl stuck on one of those unless the chopping blade is jammed on the shaft and preventing the bowl lifting up. Or is the chef bowl a smaller bowl that fits inside the main bowl?

Hi. You have a broken gear in the gearbox either the first motion gear is loose on its shaft or less likely the vertical big gear is loose on its shaft. independent spares for the gearbox are available or complete gearbox

The parts that may require service after a very long tim would be the gear box which would require a clean out and refill with grease and the output shafts which can be wiped clean and given a touch if grease as well. The motor bearings could do with the same treatment and all this calls for a strip down of the mixer. However, if there is no perceptable play in the drives and no strange noises, the unit is possibly best left alone with just the minimum lubrication being applied as you intimate.

i have the same problem. i bought a kenwood fp921
im sure about locking bowl and lid.
but the drive shaft is loose

Kenwood S.A.'s website tells you to take it back to the store where you purchased it. Great help that is?

Where can I find a manual for the A701 food mixer

They do not have a manual for the Kenwood Chef A701. However, there is a manual for a Kenwood Chef A701 available for download see www.kenwoodservice.co.uk/instructions/UK/instructions-A701.pdf. There is also some discussion on Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert Forum see forums.moneysavingexpert.com, about instructions for the Kenwood Chef. I hope this is of some help to you.

Go to http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ and search by model number. They have everything you need at good prices. They have saved me lots of $$$ on various replacement parts as they are usually the cheapest because of tax and shipping. Hope this helps!

Why is smoke coming from Kenwood chef A901

sounds to me like you may have burnt up the motor probaby by mixing to heavy of a load or running it too long, or by just being older. I would replace it as fixing it would be costly

What is the 4 digit model number from the base of the food processor? I'm thinking it'd 3202.

Is the Part number 3200631 or 7051139 stamped somewhere on the lid?

Splashguard for Model A901

Try Currys partmaster. The have a few different splash guards
Type Kenwood splash guards and they should all come up. They do say which models they fit or not
