Printing from printer

I have installed HP Deskjet 610C printer on my computer having window 2000 professional previously it was working well but now it is not working. Communication between computer and printer is not working. I am not a techical man and in my locality no expert is available. I have lost the CD which was provided at the time of purchase. Kindly help me and oblige

Just go to hewlett Packard support and download the driver again for your printer. On the support page it will ask you for your make and model. Look on your printer and find the model number and type it in. When you find your make and model download the drive to your computer and after you download it it will be placed on your desk top. Click on it and install it on your computer. And be patient because all downloads don't always work the first time. You may have to download them again saving them to your computer instead of running them from the net.

connect the same way as you had it for windows 98, but the difference is you have to reinstall the drivers for XP

Windows 7 should have the correct driver built in, but if not; you can use the generic deskjet driver, any 6XX driver, and I think the 870c and 970c work as well.
