Call Dell Tech support & let them work on the issue, it might be an issue with the software provided with the printer. Try to update the printer drivers, or better do not install the CD that came with the printer, just install the printer driver only.

False ink empty

Are you sure its exclamation mark?..
This warning message related to print head. (warn out). When you are replacing ink tube assembly use dummy print heads to do the priming (new ink tubes are empty & they have to fill with ink)..
Action: Remove all cartridges and print heads, switch on the printer follow the screen message.(Insert cartridges first next dummy print heads).once its recognizes cartridges then it switch over to print heads, insert dummy print heads. Once printer recognized the dummy print heads, printer will perform priming, during priming dummy print heads will filled with respective inks.(follow the display message)Remove dummy print heads & insert normal print heads. Wait till printer recognizes print heads, load the paper & wait till performs the calibration, once calibration is successfully done issue closed.
If calibration not successfully done, check align print out for which print head is not printed properly, replace it..
Pl ensure that minimum 50% ink levels required in cartridges before performing the priming. Best of luck..

On Brother DCP-135C - if I only want to print black, do I need to replace the other cartidges?

It appears that one can purchase the black cartridge separately from the colour cartridges. But your Brother machine is designed to stop ALL printing operations when any of the ink cartridges are empty. In that case you would need to replace all ink cartridges that are empty in order to resume printing.

Will the cartidge box move if cartridges are empty?

Hi,
For your information obviously the cartridges will move while you turn on the printer or give a print job if the cartridges are full or empty, but it will not print and will show a massage that "cartridge are empty" or "Ink level is too low". If there is any stuck on the way of movement then the cartridge will not move.

Hp 7310 all in one

First check that printer is not set to print B&W. Open an application to print a page, for example Word. Chose print command from the file menu on top bar , the print window will open.
In the print window press the 'properties' button, and check tha printer is set for color printing.t

Once you are sure printer settings are not in B&W, read the following.
Even if it shows color at 75, the printer color level may had not been reset since the cartridge had been replaced, in this case the cartridge may be empty.
If the cartridge is not empty it still can be faulty (eg. ink insid is dry).
In either case replace color cartridge with new original one.

If after you replace the cartridge it still does not print colors, then color head is faulty, at this point consider having the printer repaired by a technician.

Ink cartidges practically full but printer says they need replacing

Sometime the ink dry if you do not use it.....Try this :

Put warm water on a soft clothe and gently press the clothe with the printhead you'll suppose to see ink on your clothe. That's the better way to clean a printhead.

DO NOT SCRATCH THE PRINTHEAD WITH YOUR CLOTHE..
