Hi, try this, go to control panel-click sound and audio devices and ensure that your system is configured to the right devices for recording from your camera. The easiest way to run any of this equipment is to set all systems at default. and purchase a USB sound/video adaptor [cheap from china] and plug your camera into this when you wish to record from it. when finished, remove the adaptor the same as you would with any USB hot swap device, your computer will revert to the default settings.
Next time you use your camera , plug it in and windows will auto detect it again.

I think you have to install the "Pinnacle Studio" Video Editing Software BEFORE you attach the USB Cable to the Pinnacle MovieBox. After the Studio software is installed on your PC, your PC should automatically recognize the MovieBox. You shouldn't really need a Manual for the MovieBox, it should just be a "Plug and Play" device once you install Studio. The MovieBox just translates the Analog Video signal (like the Output from a VCR- the yellow red and white cables) to a Digital signal into your PC via a USB Input. At that point on the Studio software, the "Capture" tab should recognize the signal from your "Source" (VCR, Videocamera, etc.) Then you can edit your captured video. If your PC still doesn't "see" the Moviebox, there is a dropdown box in the "Capture" settings with selections for "Capture Device". It may have a couple of choices besides "Pinnacle MovieBox" such as a "webcam" or some other video capture device. Just select the "Moviebox". The one other problem you may encounter is that some older versions of "Pinnacle Studio" don't work on Windows 10. If so, your only easy option may be to try it on an old Windows XP machine. I like the older versions of "Studio" more than the newer versions, so I still use an old off-line XP computer. Hope that works.

Common problem with their software (its junk). Try using Corel Video Studio to run the card - they have a free 30 day trail download. Their package is about the best that I have seen so far.
Only requirements I see are video and audio input connections on our PC for the transfer/capture device. There are no actual drivers installed on Vista. If you are using Pinncale Studio software to work with the captured video, they do have versions advertised for Vista and Windows 7. If you have an older version, you may want to check the system requirements for that version. Upgrade versions appeared to be available.
I will give you a easiest way for finding the drivers that you need foryour hardware.Just download the software named driver magician.Installit and it will search for the drivers that is not installed for thehardware you have through internet and will download it for you.
Your PCTV card has got S-Video input. Just connect the S-video output of the Tata sky box if available or use a RCA to S-video adapter to input the video to the tuner card. Now for audio u can connect it to line in of PC. To watch or Record, just select the input as S-Video in the channel selection in PCTV application
hi I think you have a corrupt driver file. the best way to fix something like that is to delete the driver and then reinstall it fresh, this should cure your problem.
