Question about Neff 24 in. S5409X0 Built-in Dishwasher

No water The serial number is not my dishwahser, however mine is about 6+ years old and has worked fine, I keep it in fairly good order, cleaning rotar arms weekly and filters as often as needed. Yesterday 4th August the timer which is a dial type, was getting as far as the next section and stopping, also it would seem that no water is being drawn through the arms. Are we near the end of life or is it fixable?????

Check first the filters on the inlet water line. Then, if problem still exist - check that the inlet water valve works(it is an electromagnet valve, located at the pipe's entrance to the machine)). If it doesn't work, test that it get power. In case it get power and doesn't work - You can easily open the valve and clean it (from scale or other dirt). Be aware you should disconnect the power cable from machine before doing it !!!! Check as well for valve's coil resistance. In case you have no resistance measurement - you should replace it for a new one. Good luck!

How much for new control board for smart electric water heater

Order from Whirlpool using the serial number located on label side of tank.
The 6 year warranty has probably expired.
You can save money by converting to regular water heater.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-convert-energy-smart-water-heater-to-ordinary-water-heater.html

Since the energy smart that is pictured is older than 6 years, it means the anode rod is probably depleted and tank hull has probably started to rust inside.
Catch up on the maintenance while you are working on the heater and you can prolong life almost indefinitely.

I have Electrolux front load wahser Model EIFLW55HIW0 that is about 6 years old, Has worked without a problem for many years. recently started giving E35 error codes. the water doesn't ap

Hello friend, thank you very much for your inquiry!

After reviewing the information you have provided regarding your Electrolux front load washer EIFLW55HIW0 having an E35 error code, I have found E35 is an indication of a water over fill problem. If the water fills above 4.5 inches please follow the below trouble shooting steps I have provided for you. If the water is not above 4.5 inches you may need to change the pressure sensor switch.

If the water enters continuously please unplug the washer to see if the water stops. If the water does not stop your issue may be the water valve assembly. If the water does stop the wiring to the water valve assembly needs to be checked. If the wiring is good the control board may need to be replaced.

I do suggest you seek a professional technician to look into this issue further to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. - T

Register water heater

Whirlpool water heaters are made by AOSmith company, which owns American, Reliance, State, Craftmaster and makes water heaters for Kenmore and Whirlpool.
These are good heaters.

Register Whirlpool product at following link:
http://www.whirlpoolwaterheaters.com/support/warrantyreg.aspx

It is not necessary to register product for warranty to be valid.
And if you move to new home and take water heater, then warranty does not follow. So it might be disadvantageous to register product in that circumstance.

You can see brand, model number, and serial number located on label on side of tank.
The serial number is unique and is key for warranty coverage, even if you lost receipt. Serial number shows year of manufacture in first two digits.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Find-Age-of-water-heater.pdf

It is not necessary to register water heater for warranty to be valid, as long as following applies: Original owner, single-family non-commercial residential installation, and installation that conforms to instructions shown in product manual, and water heater is maintained as shown in product manual.

If you purchased extended warranty, then remember the warranty is carried by a third party that also requires same as above.
And the warranty may be pro-rated, rendering it nearly valueless in later years.

Typical water heater warranty:
First year of warranty covers tank-parts-labor.
After first year, the warranty shrinks to tank-parts.
The math shows that shorter warranty tank has greater percentage of full coverage.
Convert ordinary 6 year tank into 9-12-15 year tank by maintaining water heater. Especially cleaning air intake located on bottom of tank, inspecting anode rod to prevent rusting, and following maintenance schedule shown in product manual.

Doewoo no frost fridge freezer is working fine except that we keep getting puddles of water under the freezer door. any ideas. had about 4 years now

probably a blocked drain outlet or pipe. At the bottom rear of the unit, mine had a drain pipe blocked with a plug of mould (5/6 years old machine), apparently quite common. I detached the pipe and cleaned it out and replaced it.
From inside the freezer, I removed the lower back panel and thawed the ice build up on the drainage tray below the defrost heating element, leading to the pipe outside. The puddles of water that was appearing every defrost cycle have now stopped - permanently I hope. Hope this helps you

10 year old stand mixer Model 4KSM900B. Sounds like it is turning - but beater does not move. It just quit. Help! I hate the throw it out which is what the dealer repair told me to do. Holly

You can find and purchase repair transmission parts from a number of resources on the Internet.

The tech gave you good advice because by the time you pay him to make the repairs, you could have bought a new mixer.

If your mechanically handy, then you can disassemble the mixer and find the failed parts in the transmission. Pay particular attention to the casing to make sure nothing is broken there.
Clean everything up real good to make certain there are no metal fragments that can work their way back into the newly rebuilt transmission. Be sure and order some grease with the new parts as you do not want to reuse the old grease (could be full of metal fragments.).

I've had to rebuild mine a couple of times. It fairly easy if you are mechanically inclined.

I need to know how old my dryer is serial number is 28676546YM

It is determined by the last letters of the serial number. The first letter is the YEAR, the second letter is the MONTH. The years will recycle, however. This serial number letter designation was first used in 1976, then repeated in 2000. So...if your dryer is a fairly newer model, it was manufactured in November of 2000. I hope this answers your question.

Water on floor after Kenmore dishwasher runs

you could fix this, however the price of repair will be 1/2 of the price of a new dishasher.  I would suggest you buy a new oneand not waste money on a six year old dishwasher.  find a good scratch and dent model.

6 months old. Now no water will fill drum! Works as normal but no water!

Hurlewan Your washer is still under manufacturer's warranty which is one full year. If it has Kenmore's name on it you do not need proof of purchase. The only thing you need is your mother-in-law's home phone number at time of purchase because Sears keeps all their records based on phone numbers. Good luck, Gendos post back....
