Crosley washer cawc529pq0

The on/off power switch has stopped working--no power, the plastic cover over the electronic control panel cracked and broke in pieces over the on off switch section of the control panel. I don't know if it needs the bubble of air or if the problem is actually the control panel. I only want to replace what is necessary. How can I determine if I need the control panel or just a new cover?

SOURCE: Timer knob on washer broke off leaving the plastic sleeve attache

I did fix this problem myself, I found a heavy duty 'bread tie' type of wire, I tied it around the base of the stuck sleeve and wrapped the loose end of the 'bread tie' around my pliers and pulled very hard and it shot off like a bullet, I am now using my replacement knob..yeah for me..

Crosley Professional Washer. Why is my washer stopping at beginning of fill cycle?

Question edited for clarity. 'field cycle' to fill cycle.

Do you hear water running? Water inlet valve failed.

or

Taking too long to fill. Check the strainers in the rear where the hose connects and check water flow from the hose.

Also try a power disconnect overnight to do a power reset of the control board.

=============================================
If the cold water supply is slow or not entering the tub at all, the washer will stop ahead of the rinse cycle while waiting for the tub to fill. This can be caused by a clogged water inlet valve, the main water supply valve being partially closed, or low water supply pressure from the home.

Why won't my Crosley top load washer pass wash cycle?

There are several reasons why your Crosley top load washer might not be passing the wash cycle. Some common causes include:
  1. Power issues: Check to see if the washer is properly plugged in and the outlet has power.
  2. Water supply problems: Make sure the water supply valves are turned on and the hoses are not kinked or clogged.
  3. Load balance: The washer may not be able to advance to the next cycle if the load is unbalanced. Try redistributing the clothes evenly in the drum.
  4. Control panel issues: The control panel or the control board may be faulty and need to be replaced.
  5. Lid switch: If the lid switch is not functioning properly, the washer may not be able to advance to the next cycle.
  6. Clogged pump or drain: If the pump or drain is clogged, the water may not be able to be pumped out of the washer, causing it to stop mid-cycle.
If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, it may be best to consult a professional for further assistance.

Control panel does not respond on Crosley Dryer Model CDE4205AYJ

Don't you just love electronic controls. On the inside of the dryer is like it always was back in the day with mechanical timers. The same old problem the old ones had is the blower wheel slips and causes overheating or a ball of lint at the base of the filter chute. This eventually blows the FUSE. Their is 2 of them fuses so look close one is usually behind a shield out of sight and may have been overlooked. DIAGRAM

I have a toastmaster t80bc and the clear plastic part that locks down the handle on the inside popped off, anyone have a pic or diagram of how it goes back on. Nothing is broke it just came off and its...

yes I got the same problem, I Fix myself.(model T80BC)
unplug main power cable, remove top cover (remove 4 screw from the bottom and knob from the side)disconnect control panel cable from main board.look at the attached picture.in the photo close to power cable connector will see a slot
(look at the black arrow mark pointed ).insert plastic switch to this slot, make sure both side properly mounted.then move toaster push down lever up and down. it should move as usual without any obstruction. now put back control panel cable and top cover, knob, and all the screws. plug cable into the power,it should work.

My washer will not stop filling and overflows the tub.

Good day,
If shutting off the power to the machine stops the water flow, then the water valve is O.K.
Three possibilities.
1. The pressure switch in the control panel has failed. or....
2. The plastic hose going to the pressure switch has come off ..or
3. It is plugged up where it is connected to the bottom of the rear of the tube and must be blown out.

You can access the pressure switch and hose by removing the 2 screws at each corner of the counsel ( may be hidden by plastic covers that have to be unclipped) and then lift slightly forward and then flipped completely up and over.

Hi,
Thanks qrx1llb3 for the help!
After carefully removing the plastic covers (yes, u need to remove both, I removed first the back one then the front one by pulling up, then disconnect the cable that joins the panel on the front cover with the electronic board on the upper right area) I found the electronic board with the blown up fuse. My was under a blue plastic cover. I'll try to replace it and see what happens! thanks for the help! :)
