Question about Computers & Internet
My friend turned on my wi-fi button for me in my netbook using FN + (twice of) F3 and it worked. But now that he's around I can't seem to quite make FN + (twice of) F3 work. FN + (once of) F3 is just for the bluetooth. Can you suggest techniques?
SOURCE: i am using acer emachines

The best way to check if the computer can access to Internet is to boot the computer to "Safemode with Networking", to do so, restart the computer and as soon as it restarts keep on tapping F8 key, now select "Safemode with Networking" from the Advance boot menu. Try to connect to internet. If you are able to connect to Internet then the issue is with the firewall on you computer, contact the firewall manufacturer or settings. If you are still unable to connect to Internet, then the internet setting are not correct, you may need to contact the ISP.
Thanks and regards,
