My dell inspiron 4000 screen is green or pink and when I move the curser it's like I am painting with a brush with white paint. The colors are distorted with mainly pink and green

The selected grey was probably in the blue family instead of yellow family. Most interior colors look better if they come from the warm yellow family, including greys.
There are greys for every color in the spectrum ... from yellow to red to blue. If you pick a grey with bit of red, it will start to look mauve. Orange and it will look brown. Blues inside the grey will turn purple real quick.
Moreover, all colors and finishes are contextual and pick up surrounding colors. Especially satin-or-shiny finishes, because they pick up local colors that change intended hue. For example blue drapes will turn white room bluish. If the house next door is red, and the light comes in window, it will turn white room into pink. Green leaves, and the light from window turn white room green. So when you pick a grey that has bit of blue, the color can change for many reasons beside light bulb. Each room is totally different.
Most folks pick colors by looking at color chip in the store, instead of painting a section of wall inside home. And most folks do not ask the paint store clerk which tints are in that particular color. Sometimes the black tint will turn some bases into a bluish hue.
Go back to paint store and get another grey color from the yellow spectrum.

First of all we must know how is works,that is air enters the brush causing a vacuum at the paint hose,where the hose is dip into the paint barrel,so paint will fill the vacuum where it will attend the brush,so if the air mechanism in the brush is glogged air will flow in the paint barell.Solution is to dismentle the brush and clean the air mechinism

you may have damaged the screen in which case theres not much more you can do then replace it.if its a new labtop it may be still under warrenty in which case get back to dell.

it seems that problem that ur facing is manly related to drivers but try booting into safe mode and incase ur screen look normal in it try installing the driver from support.dell.com.or check in bios and check the screen in case ur screen is still bad then contact dell
