Try these steps in the order they are given If non of them work sandisk should be able to help you out. 1-866-726-3475 or 1-866-sandisk -Reset device take out battery hold power button for 30 count put battery back in turn device on. -Upgrade firmware Go to website, download firmware update This was the URL at the time of writing this http://sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376 or try http://sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx Install according to instructions. let the device reboot. -Format memory. turn hold switch on, orange should be visible hold pause/play button and press power. click forward button when the screen comes up. let this run. after reboot flip the hold switch off.

How format card
Either the card is locked into protect mode or it is very large memory.maybe too large for the upper limit of camera.if there is nothing on the card you wish to save ....try formatting on computer to FAT32 first and check fix errors...then put it into camera and reformat.If it still won't format on the camera try downloading a small free utility from HEwlett Packard.google HPusb utility .this program not only formats any file system on cards that have errors or become unreadable.it will give you an option to alter block sizes in the event someone altered the file structure on a unusual device.hope this is of help...please vote.thankyou.

Please , you mean tif , anyway you can save to JPG then convert it by any other software , but i think scanner does support like your file ,

I have locked my memory card and forgotten the password. Format card also requires password and my laptop cannot read it. Please help.
All you have to do is:

Step One:
To save data, use EASEUS Data Recovery software (free version - 1GB of data recovery). how:
1. Download and install EASEUS Data Recovery
2. Choose Complete Recovery - Next
3. Choose the drive micro SD - Next
4. Save the data to the hard disk (max. 1GB)
5. Because of your micro SD 2GB, repeat the process of recovery (repeat step 2, 3, 4)
After all data is secure, do the process of removing the micro SD password

Step Two:
The first alternative - use the software HP Drive Key Boot Utility
1. Download and install the software HP Drive Key Boot Utility
2. Then, double click the file cp006049.exe
3. If you are using Win XP, double click the file cp006049.exe - select Install.
4. If you are using Win Vista or Seven, double click the file cp006049.exe - select extrack.
5. Then, open the program "HP Drive Key Boot Utility or hpdkbu.exe" - Next - select drive - Next - Create new or replace exiting configuration - Next - Hard drive - Next - Create new file system - Next - wait until the process is completed - Next - Finish.
6. Remove the micro SD from the USB port, then insert it again.
7. Quick format micro SD (FAT file system)
8. Restore all data, to the micro SD.

The second alternative - use software HDD Low Level Format Tool
1. Download and install HDD Low Level Format Tool
2. Select micro SD - Continue
3. Click S.M.A.R.T - click Get Smart Attributes
4. Click LOW LEVEL FORMAT - click Format this device
5. Wait until the process is complete - press OK
6. Remove the micro SD from the USB port, then insert it again.
7. Quick format micro SD (FAT file system)
8. Restore all data, to the micro SD.

Dont work and dont format
When the flash drive is inserted and is still detected Kingston, flash drives can be repaired and the data can be saved. Cause, there is damage to the partition table

Solution:
1. Save the data. To saved data, you can use EASEUS Data Recovery software.
2. After the data is saved, to fix the flash drive using the software HP Drive Key Boot Utility (Support Win XP, Vista, 7)

How to install the HP Drive Key Boot Utility to the operating system
Win XP: double click the file cp006049.exe - select Install
Win Vista & 7: double click the file cp006049.exe - select extrack

How to use the software HP Drive Key Boot Utility

For Win XP, first way:
Insert the flash drive - open the HP Drive Key Boot Utility - Next - select flash drives - Next - Create New or Replace ..., select Next - Next select Hard Drive - Create New File system, select Next - wait for the process is completed - Select Next - HP firmware Flash ..., select Next - wait for the process is completed - finish. Then, quick format the flash drive.

For Win XP, second way:

Then, quick format the flash drive.

For Win Vista & 7, second way:

initrd.img files, the image file for the schema partition flash drive capacity <= 2GB. For capacity >2GB, example: 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, etc when we use the initrd.img file, will be changed to 2GB capacity. To restore the capacity of flash drives, do the Low Level Format.   • you need to "format " the flash drive first on the MAc, than you can save /copy of your files..
here is how you can format it:
How to format external hard drive?
Open the Applications folder,
open the Utilities Folder,
then open Disk Utility.
Select the drive, click erase,

How to convert subtitle with .sub format to .srt format
  1. Download and install the Vobsub software (http://ftp.isu.edu.tw/pub/CPatch/media/vobsub/source/vobsub_2.23.exe). When you reach the "Installation Options" section during installation, click the "+" next to Utilities to open the list. Check subresync, submux, create shortcuts, and associate files with notepad options under the menu.
  2. Step 2 Go to your program list and find the folder for Vobsub. Launch the subresync program from the file folder. Select "Open" from the options on the left. Find the directory where your .sub file is located and select it.
  3. Step 3 Choose the subtitle language you wish to use in the conversion. There will be a drop-down box on the left side of the window with a listing of available languages.
  4. Step 4 Select "Save As" which will open up the save menu. From the "Save as type" drop-down menu, select Subripper (.srt). This will convert your .sub file to an .srt file. Then click "Save."
  5. Step 5 Create a database of letters by typing the letters matching the red box that moves across the screen. This will ensure that all words display correctly during playback. If there are special characters in the file, select "Extend" to choose the correct character.
  6. Step 6 Exit the program and open your video file. Locate the .srt file when choosing subtitles to being playback with your newly converted subtitles
