Re:
Check the bottom of your phone.
There is a connector down there, is there any greenish stuff (oxidation) on it ? If so, the connector has been exposed to water.
Clean the connector as well as possible, it might have short-circuited the pins and the phone thinks it has the headset plugged in.
You might have to take the phone completely apart and clean it from the inside.
If theres no greenish stuff on/in the connector, you probably have to visit your local Service-Center for repairs.

I see that you need information regarding your Jabra Bluetooth Headset.
*Once the Light on the Headset is constantly lit it means that it is ready for pairing.
*On you Mobile phone go to Bluetooth it should be detected as soon as you set your mobile phone's BT to be discoverable.
*Select Connect/Accept/OK or which ever options you Mobile Phone will provide when pairing with your headset.
*The pairing code will be " 0000 "
This should help you pair up your headset with any Mobile phone or device that uses Bluetooth.
ya im having the same problem with mine, and im trying to play cod6. but i think its supposed to do that. but then again, why would they give u a earpeice if u cant hear anything. well, u can try pressing the volume up on the head set, and also go to accessory settings on your ps3 and turn it up. but im not sure if thats your problem, i havent tryed that yet. but hope it helps.
Here's how I fixed the damn headset thang on my Nokia.
Take out the SIM card and start the phone *WITHOUT* the SIM card. Wait until the phone's screen says, "insert SIM card." Wait a minute, then re-insert the SIM card, and re-start the phone. Voila, the horrid headset symbol is gone (I hope). Do it a few times if it doesn't take the first time (although, it did on mine).
Hope this works for you, because hell, that headset setting is a real beyatch when you *don't* want it. ;)
i have this problem with my 6680 cellphne also.
I have the same problem......I tried cleaning it but no slice.
