My mp3 says no files

My mp3 player says it has no files on it but when i hook it up to the computer it says its full and need to erase some files. but it wont show that i have any files on my mp3 player. i went into my computer and right clicked on the sandisk icon and went to format and it still didn't help. its just not letting me add songs or anything.

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.

BE SURE NOT TO DELETE YOUR FIRWARE, ONLY THE SONGS,FILES,ETC.

To put songs on your mp3 player you need to install Windows Media Player on your computer, after you install it hook up your mp3 player to the computer and download your songs to the player.

How do i reset and erase the music files so i can download different music on it

hook it u to your computer and access the mp3 playr in the my computer and tehn you should be able to manually erase the files

I would like to know how you can format the memory to eliminate everything. I have connected it to my computer and erased manually all the songs. But when i disconnect it, the songs are still there.

I am not sure how you have tried to erase the songs using your computer, but try erasing the songs this way. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

When i try to put music on it, it says that it is already full how do i erase what ever is on it.

If you have the cable to hook to a computer it will show up as an additional hard drive and you can delete files like any windows file.
