Navigate DVD menu without remote

Is there any way to navigate the dvd menu without the remote control? I need to change the audio on a dual audio disk and can't seem to get to the setup menu. I've lost the remote. Can I do this or do I need to buy a remote?

I need to know how to change modes without controller when I'm using a dvd

Without a remote controller, you may have limited options to change modes on your Apex digital TV. However, you may be able to change the mode by using the buttons on the TV itself.
Here are some general steps you can try:
  1. Turn on your TV and make sure your DVD player is connected to it.
  2. Look for the "Menu" button on the TV and press it.
  3. Navigate through the menu options using the arrow buttons on the TV until you find "Input" or "Source."
  4. Press the "Enter" button to select the input/source option.
  5. Use the arrow buttons to select the input/source that corresponds to your DVD player.
  6. Press the "Enter" button to confirm the selection.
  7. Press the "Menu" button to exit the menu.
Note that the specific steps may vary depending on the model of your Apex TV. You may also consult the user manual for your TV for more information on changing modes without a remote controller.

Does somebody know how to make the LG RCT689H region free. It's a dvd Rewrittable, does someboady has expierience.

Access the DVD setup menu by turning on the unit without a DVD in the drive.

Press simultaneously the "arrow down" button on the right side of the DVD recorder and the "clear" button on the remote control simultaneously for about six seconds to access the options menu.

Use sideways arrow keys on remote control to navigate to OP6. Set value of option to "8F" (for region free) and press "enter" on remote control to save changes.

When message saying "save ok" appears press "menu/list" on remote control to exit options menu. The unit will reboot and is now able to play any DVD.

I lost the remote. How can I navigate without it? When I put in a DVD I can play the first episode, but when that one is over I can't navigate back to the main menu to play the next episode. Do I have to...

In short, you will have to consider purchasing a replacement remote control. If the original is not available, a universal remote may do the job. Universals are obtainable practically anywhere and can be preset to recognise the device of virtually any brand; in your case, the DVD player. Most functions will work with such remotes, but not all can be guaranteed. I hope this helps a bit - and the (universal) remote won't cost an arm and a leg to buy either.

Cannot advance thru the menu selections on exercise DVD with universal remote

Hi,
To navigate in Menu to select desired part of file is needed original remote because universal remote does not have these special command. universal remotes have few common control buttons for routine control of any gadget.
Replacement remote for Samsung DVD-V2000 is available HERE and HERE as it will help you to select required scene in exercise dvd disc.
Hope these info will help you.
Let me know if you have additional question.
Thanks.

Don't have the remote control and I'm unable to navigate through the root menu

If you have a universal remote you can program it to control the DVD player... otherwise, you are out of luck without a remote! Good luck!

Lost remote control. Cann I play dvd without it?

As long as you have a play button on you dvd player you shouldn't have any issues playing the main movie, you may not be able to navigate to different menu options from with on the dvd it's self.

You may want to look into obtaining a universal remote you can pick on up at your local electronics store and are fairly cheap.
