Best guess is thermostat I believe the broiler does not need the thermo in oven.. it stays on steady hot .. thats why it still works

Maytag aqualift range is not getting very hot

your Maytag range has only a single heating element located at the top of the oven, it is likely a "broil" element, which is used primarily for cooking food close to the top of the oven. The lower heating element, which is typically used for baking and roasting, may be hidden beneath the oven floor or located at the bottom of the oven.
If your oven is not getting very hot, it is possible that the broil element is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced. However, if the oven is not heating evenly or is not getting hot enough to cook food properly, it may be a more complex issue related to the temperature sensor, the control board, or other components.
To diagnose and repair the issue, it is recommended to have the range serviced by a qualified technician, who can properly identify the model and locate the faulty component. The model number of your range can typically be found on a label inside the oven door, on the back of the range, or on a storage drawer beneath the oven.

I have a Maytag Electric Range model MER5755QAW. It was obvious that the heating element was bad, you could see the area where it had blown out. I have replaced the heating element, and the oven will...

Just went thru this with my GE/Hotpoint oven....the oven temp sensor removed from oven should measure about 2K ohms and vary when put in ice water and hot water...if it does then problem is control panel circuit board. My oven's board was listed at $300+ so I bought new range ($500+).

The bottom element blew out on my Maytag electric range. I replaced it but still does not heat. I checked and there is no power coming to the element. All other functions, broil and top burners work fine....

without knowing the model I'm going to give you the most probable issue.
The wires that connect to the element plug in have become brittle and bad there's no more connection.. they need to be repaired.
I'm sure you know this but....shut off power to the unit while working on it.
best to you.

I cannot find the model number for my maytag oven to download a manual. I've lived in my home for three years, the oven was there when I got there so I don't know much about it. Now the display is saying...

Unfortunately, there is no standardized location for the model # sticker. Look in all for side corners of the oven door, then look on all four sides of the oven opening.  Look on the inside of the oven for the name plate.  Look under the stove top where the burners are and finally look behind the oven.
As a last resort you can look on your sales contract to see if you can contact the previous owner for advice.
