Ge air conditioner error code ep - Heating & Cooling

Here are the steps to program your GE universal remote (model number 24922cl57252) to work with your Solace Air portable air conditioner:

1. Turn on your Solace Air portable air conditioner.
2. Press and hold the "Setup" button on your GE universal remote until the red indicator light stays on.
3. Enter the code "991" using the number buttons on your GE remote. The red indicator light will turn off.
4. Press the "Power" button on the GE remote.
5. Press the "Up" or "Down" button to try and turn the air conditioner off. If the air conditioner turns off, press the "Setup" button to lock in the code.

If the air conditioner does not turn off, repeat steps 2-5 with a different code from the list below until the air conditioner turns off:
Solace Air Portable Air Conditioner Codes: 0277, 0363, 0364, 0365, 0403, 0454, 0455, 0456, 0457, 0474, 0475, 0494, 0495, 0496, 0497

Check damage to the temperature sensor
Sensor Cable left side yellow.

My airco got visited by a rat and damaged the wiring.
Cut it rejoined and code 32 changed into temperature.
You need the sensor. Just joining the cables will issue 99 and it will cut off and change into 32
You need a working sensor.

I had this same problem with mine, i unplugged it and pushed the reset button on the side and now it's working fine.

I just posted this on another one, but try unplugging it and pushing the reset buttons on the side of the plug. It worked to fix mine so far...

There is a water holding tank on the right lower side (when u are looking at the front), empty it and the unit comes back on.

What does the EP light mean on a GE air conditioner when it. stays on and the unit stpps cooling.

Find a dealer near you who may be willing to handle the job of
getting the grill you want? Not all grills are different(or alike), so
there may be a chance of him getting a similar grill which you
may be able to just screw in place.

Making your own comes to mind as a backup solution.
