I have a 2007 jeep gc 3.7L v6. Replaced the battery a few months ago for a bad cell. Went out again and jeep wouldn't start. Tried both keys in case one was dead, swapped relays to make sure they were working and took the starter out, which was a pain, and had it tested. Guy said it was fine, and check wiring. Wires were on there tight. I've read about earth ground issues and don't really know what else to check. Any ideas?
Any issues with the ignition switch itself? They are mostly made of plastic pieces. With the exception of the actual cylinder. Also depending on how long you had the battery issue,it may have damaged the alternator. They tend to go hand in hand, unless caught early enough. The alternator gets overworked due to the weak battery.

Is the ignition switch good? If the starter/solenoid; starter relay, battery and cables are all good that is about the only thing left.
Do you hear a click when you turn the switch?

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
Looks like that you have a failing IACV (idle air control valve). If the IACV is faulty, the vehicle tends not to start or may stall during operation. I suggest that you have the vehicle scanned to know exactly what the fault is. Though I suspect that it's the IACV.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

you will need to try to turn the engine manually to make sure its not frooze. if it turns then you might need to check the starter again.

if the battery is being drained there is something causing it to happen, check that all the lights are off glove box, trunk, you may have to get someone to get in the trunk & close it to see if the light goes out, when it is dark lift the hood & move the wiring everywhere you can to see if there are any sparks that might indicate a bare wire touching something.....hope this helps......cheers.
