LCX-19C - Screen displays backwards

I have the same problem on my unit and was told the same after I stayed on hold 38 minutes for tech support at lowrance. This is the second Lowrance that they would not fix and only offer a "discount" on a replacement. This company can KISS my behind. What a scam!!!

I too suffered the upside down inside out display issue. Lowrance told me to give the back of the unit a whack. Since no one would repair it, I had nothing to lose. It worked! It may only last a day it may last a week then you have to whack it again.

Got tired of doing that so I took the unit apart (T-9 Torx driver some may have the tamper-proof screws) and found a little black ground wire at the very top of the assembly that connects the pc board with the display module had broken and was making intermittent contact. I believe that's why when I'd give it a whack it would work for awhile and then go inverted again sometime later. I replaced that wire making good soldering connections on both ends and so far so good. Can't say for sure this is the ultimate fix or that your issue is the same but it's worth a shot. Beats shelling out another grand! Good luck.

I had this problem on my 19c screen just recently. I could atually touch the screen and it would go back to a normal view. Touch it again and it wopuld reverse and invert. And then... my screen started to look like a tv with a horizontal hold problem with multiple fluttering images. And I couldn't get this problem to go away. I called Lowrance earlier today and they don't service these machines anymore and won't give you the name of a repair center. The best I could get out of them was a $250 rebate toward a new lcx 27 machine. Not much for an $800 machine that was 3 years old. I'm afraid to say that your machine is likely going to get unusable with a probable display issue.
