Power issues with panasonic tc32lx70

I have seen a few posts in regards to the same issue others have had with the unit not turning on..just the power light blinking. The only fix we have is to unplug the tv and then plug it back in. This happens every few days and the wife is thoroughly annoyed.

Has anyone been able to fix this and how much did it cost?

I have the same problem. Every few days the TV kicks out and has to be reset by unplugging it. Does anyone have a solution?

You need to go to Panasonic dot com search for TC-32LX70, go to software updates. Use a blank SD card and format it save the firmware file SDDL.SEC to it. Carefully open the "service panel" you may need to remove the entire back case? since it seems the frame is holding the service panel down. 1)power on the TV
2)insert the SDcard with firmware update into the rear(lx70) or the sdcard slot on the side(lx700)
3)follow the on-screen instructions.
4)when it's finished, remove the SD card.
turn off or unplug for 30+ seconds
then plug it back in.
5)power on.
6) perform the first time setup.

Panasonic cn-mw100d will not turn on but power is coming to unit

The Panasonic CN-MW100D is a portable navigation device. If it's not turning on even though power is coming to the unit, it could be caused by a few different things.
  • First, check that the power cord is securely plugged into both the device and the power source.
  • Second, check the battery level, if the device has a battery, if the battery is dead, replace the battery or charge it.
  • Third, check the fuse, if the fuse is blown, replace the fuse.
  • Fourth, try doing a hard reset by holding down the power button for 10 seconds.
  • If none of the above steps resolve the issue, then the problem may be with the internal hardware of the device and it may need to be repaired or replaced.

Panasonic Portable dvd/cd player model #DVD-LS90 The player turns on and tries to read the DVD. However, it no longer spins so the DVD cannot be read.

Hi,

Two possibilities:
  • the laser eye (lens) is dirty, weak or defective. The unit no longer can sense that a disc is present and therefore will not initiate servo motor engagement. Pls try cleaning;
  • the spindle motor is weak or defective. This might be of additional information.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

When turning on my Panasonic SA-HT940 the code f61 dispalyes and the unit turns off.

This is most likely a power supply problem.
F61 for model SAHT75 = Power amplifier output error or power supply circuit error.
Supply voltage for IC501 (Power Amplifier).
Approx. +60.0V dc at pins 3 & 20.
Approx. -60.0V dc at pins 4 & 21.
A qualified engineer may check the above voltages.
------
Another possible solution might be to hold down the power button until the unit restarts itself a few times, and/or before-hand unplugging the unit from the outlet.

Please be careful when working on any electronic device and let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you for using Fixya and Good Luck

Panasonic 32" GAOO just atarted doing this...Turn

The Panasonic Gaoo sets were top of the line in it's day, the problem you are describing is a vertical deflection issue caused by bad solder joints and a few parts. I recommend a tv technician to fix the set.

Panasonic PT-47WX53 has intermittant convergance issue

I would chack the solder connections at the convergence ICs first. Since the set "recovers" on its own, it suggests a connection issue rather than a defective component. Also, if the ICs were installed without sufficient heat sink compound, this could happen as well. Look at low valued resistors in the area of the ICs for signs of overheating as well.

Keep us posted on your progress.
