'F' displaying on screen and remote not responding.
I think I may have leant on the remote but the screen is showing 'F' in the top right corner and it's not responding to the remote. I have pressed everything. It wont turn off either. Any help would be useful.
Excavated with Google from Philips website:
When a letter F appears on the right hand corner of the screen it means the television is in factory mode.
To exit from factory mode, press the 'VOLUME -' and ?CHANNEL -? buttons on the TV set simultaneous for 5 seconds.
Hope this helps

When not in a setting mode, pressing and holding UP & DOWN keys for 3 seconds, the key pad is locked. After setting it, the LOCK icon will be displayed on LCD to indicate that key pad has been locked and all the keys are disabled. At that case, the remote won't send out any codes. The LOCK icon on the LCD flash 3 times, 0.5 seconds for ON, 0.5 seconds for OFF, and press & hold UP & DOWN keys for 3 seconds, the remote is un-locked.
The thermostat is calling for heat, and the battery icon means that the batteries are low and should be replaced. If the thermostat is wired to run on battery power alone, replacing the batteries usually corrects this problem. Hope this helps! Jim
You will need the remote control. On an RCA remote you press the info button. If you are using another brand universal remote and it is fully integrated with this television you might find a display button to press to remove component from the screen.
If you can program a Comcast remote or another universal remote that has an info key, you can get rid of it. I just succeeded in programming my comcast remote thanks to Dave Taylor: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_to_program_comcast_cable_remote_control.html
Once the remote is programmed, hit the "info" button and watch your frustration disappear!
