My zen nano plus worked fine. It put the songs into individual folders. However, it no longer puts them into folders, but shows the songs going into "Root". There is no way to forward through the album without going through each individual song. We own three of them. The other two work fine. I don't know what caused mine to act up.

The way to fix it is, on your PC, you make folders on the Zen Nano drive. Title those folders as you want. Then you put all of the audio into those folders. And hopefully when you turn on the device, the audio will be in folders. Good luck.

Zen nano mp3 player always starts at same song 1gig

You can put it on shuffle mode, and then it will play a new song everytime. Also, check if somehow you got some songs into a playlist or folder. If that is the case it may start from the same song everytime.

Hey Sheikhea!

You won't need to download or install any programs if you have Windows Media Player on your computer. You can use other programs but WMP is probably the easiest!

  1. Plug in your MP3 player using the USB cord (should be in box)
  2. Open WMP
  3. (If your songs are already in Library skip this step). Click "File" (top left hand corner) then "Add to Library..." Click "OK" WMP will now find all music on your computer and add it to Library.
  4. If the internet is connected WMP will attempt to find song info such as title, artist, album etc. Otherwise right click on song and click "Edit"
  5. Click on "Sync" tab (top of player). A sidebar should appear with "Creative zen.. etc" written on the top.
  6. Drag songs into sidebar.
  7. Click "Start Sync"
  8. The songs will now download onto your MP3 player.
To organise your files into folders etc. go to "My Computer" then "Creative Zen etc" then "Music" and create folders (right click "create folder") copy, paste, and drag your songs in folders as you like.

You can now unplug you MP3 player and turn it on!

Please reply so I can know if this information was helpful or not and can help you further.

Happy MP3ing!

Creative Zen Nano plus -512 MB

well it shouldnt play the first song in the folder. it should automatically play the song where you left off. and when you are changing the EQ, make sure that you are pressing in the selector key. (the key at the bottom to the right of the volume control keys) as it may take a while to adjust to your volume settings

Why doesnt the music sync?

Try cleaning the movo of all files and updating firmware at: http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/ You did not specify the specific error code you ar getting but perhaps this will help, the MuVo has known problems with library structure and max amount of files: Flash memory players such as Zen Nano Plus, Zen Nano, or other MuVo series may report a message about "insufficient space" even if the player has sufficient space available. This occurs when there are more than 500 files or more than 50 folders on the unit. Please note that each folder counts as one file, and the structure of file or folder names also affect the number of files a player can store. To further maximize a player's memory, avoid using long file names and file names with mixed lower and upper cases; create sub-folders on the player and move files from the root directory (i.e. not in a folder) to the sub-folders; limit the level of folders to 4th level including root (e.g. x:\rock\band\album\song.wma). good Luck
