Question about Samsung SGH-D900 Cellular Phone
I have just recently bought a sd memory card 2gb, it comes with an adapter so I loaded the micro chip into the adapter and uploaded all the song that were there and that worked fine it left 512mb of space. I then took the card out when the labtop said it was ok to do so, I then tried to put the micro sd card into the phone and suceeded in doing so,however, it is not possible to acess any of the music that I have uploaded. Everytime I go to files, applications or the music player it won't recognise the card or you click on 'memory card' in any of the menus and it says format and if I click yes it just says error and if I no nopthing happens. can somebody help. do i need to drag files or softwear
It doesn't say so anywhere in the manual (I checked through the whole thing), but on the Samsung product info page for the D900 it says it can only use memory cards up to 512MB. So basically the solution is to buy a 512MB card instead. How much does that ****? Most places don't even sell cards less than 1GB. Ebay is probably the way to go. Having said that, since the internal memory is only a tiny 64MB, 512 is still 8x bigger. They really should have included this info in the manual. Would have saved me several hours trying to get the darn thing to work with my new 2G card.

Turn off your unit and turn back on. Then try to access the memory and keep in doing until you can open it. Thats what my friend do on her phone. It works.
