Yes you can,but the other icon will remove too,due to the program install to the camera.,try to press the upper button, near at the menu.,thats the osd.,(on screen display), But if you dont want that you can change the date and time to the settings of the camera.,
Regarding the date and time, Actually its normal everytime you removed the battery you need to reset the date its is because the camera doesnt have a internal or built-in battery that can run the internal clock or maintain the date settings.,
Regarding the taking picture that will take time, it is because your using a too high mega pixel of the camera, Higher mega pixel will have a bigger file size and it will take to process the picture. the best thing you can do is to lower the Mega pixel or the picture size make it atleast 5MP or 6MP., I can guarantee to you you will have a great picture outcome and lessen the time of processing picture.
By the way you can lower the mega pixel (picture size)by pressing the menu button of your camera
The easiest way to identify a picture within the camera might be through date and time. Go to your pictures settings and try to disable the timer display option.
hi the following procedure is to set the date and time... just do the opposite of dis and ur date and time will be removed.. just do the following steps carefully. 1. Push the function/set button. Press the directional button down to select Date and Time. 2. Push the directional button to the right then down or up to set the date and time. Then press the function/set button to save it. Then: to put the date and time on your pictures, 3. Push the selector button up to the camera icon, and press function/set. Scroll down to Date Stamp. 4. Scroll right to turn on the Date and Time Stamp, then up or down to until it says On. Press function/set when your done.
That is your solution.after u set the date/time stamp is embedded in a picture, you can't take it out. ...
The best way to connect to your computer is to use a card reader. Make sure that you purchase one that is compatible with the memory card in your camera.
They are very reasonably priced online, and the transfer rate is a lot faster than hooking the camera up directly.
turn the camera on,make sure its on auto. press the fn button or the picture delete, with the small garbage can icon, once there scroll left to change, highlight and press ok.good luck, hope i helped
Try going into the cameras menu setting and see if you can change the picture quality settings to the best setting! (the more mega pixals the better the picture when you blow it up or crop it!
If you cant figure out the menu come back and see us we will be glad to help!

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
Hi, The internal memory for taking number of snpas depends on that on which Mega Pixal you are using. Hope that intentally or un-intentally you had change Mega Pixal from low to high, that's why the number of pics in internal memory reduces. Just keep your camera snaps mode (Where you take pics) then press junk or dustbin button and you can change the Mega Pixal quality as you want. Higher MP gain more memory and give less number of pics but with high resolution and lower MP gives large numer of pics with low resolution. Hope you will under stand my sayings. Thanks for using FIXYA! Take care
