Keeps defrosting or stoping all together.

I have a frigidaire FRS26KF6E side by side and for some reason the fridge just quits cooling every week or so. No cool air coming through or anything and I noticed that the water to the front door of the fridge stops working too. Have any of you seen this, any ideas as to how to fix it. Its a big bummer.

fregger side of the referigrator has ice on firns from where cold air is coming, but other side is not cool et.al.

Check that the AC outlet works where the unit plug. Its seems that you have a power loss problem, either on the unit or in the wall outlet.

I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT FRIDIGIDAIRE FRS26KF6E IT RUNS FOR EVER RARELY SHUTS OFF I CALLED SEARS REAPAIR AND THE GUY TOLD ME THAT IS NORMAL FOR IT TO ALWAYS RUN. AND THAT WILL MEAN IT SAVING ENERGY THAT TO ME IS A BUCH OF BULL HOW IS SOMTHING RUNNING GOING TO SAVE MONEY ON ELECTRICITY I CANT WAIT TO SEE MY ELECTRICTY BILL

Sounds like a defrost problem. Is there frost build up on inside back wall of freezer? If heater is good, the control or the defrost thermostat may be bad. Is fan in freezer and fan at compressor running?

you moved the fridge out from the wall and it started running again?try opening the fridge door and tap on the fridge control and see if it starts up.i,ve gone into houses and then the woman tells me when the fridge shuts down she hits the side and it runs again.it's the control,this could be your problem also,when you moved the fridge the control could have kicked back on.let me know what you find
