You must pick up on the tubes from the front. Pick up the tubes to raise the table as high as you can. You should be able to get it all the way up. You must then put something there to hold the tubes up. I use a long 2x4 when I am in the shop. When I am in the field working on one, I pick up the tubes and place an office chair over the front of the base and let the tubes rest on the top of the chair back. Replacing those big springs on the back specialist isn't as hard as it looks. Start by removing all the tension from the springs. The rear of your table should slowly go toward the ground as you remove all the tension. Once the tension is removed, start by removing the bottom of the spring first.
