I can't get the dvd player to play a movie. Each time I put in a disc, it says loading and then says "No Disc". I tried using a disc cleaner, but it wouldn't load it. I am very frustrated. What should I do. I have had it for almost 2 years, and no extended warranty. Please help me.
we have a duel panansonic dvd player. it is about 5 years old. it keeps restarting the movie at the beginning every time. I went through the menu and turned "resume" on. Still the same result. I've tried pausing it, stopping, jitting the stop button twice. Hi, well I see this type of thing in my Lab alla time unfortunately it sounds if ya DVD has gone faulty... an all too common occurrence these days.. the Laer seem to be very "Frail" You could try a cleaning Disk, but they seldom work.. but sometimes? all ya can do is replace it with another good DVD.. OR if thats not possible use any AV input and connect a remote DVD player that way.. a bit of a hassle, but it's a work around anyway.

No,tv internal DVD player are not on sale by itself as a seperate unit, only can buy it from the tv corporations themselves and it not cheap and have to have experience to putting it in into the tv internal tv itself. The tv internal DVD player now, could be the laser eye data reader have problems reading mp3 and mp4 files on the DVD disc, which are video files. Now tries to play more than one DVD movies dic, tries like to play like 5 to 6 original DVD movies. One disc don't play tries another DVD disc.Tries this might forcing the laser eye reader to read DVD dics again and than might fix it to read video files again.Or just buy an external DVD player hook it up to the tv and play DVD disc on to the tv video modes.DVD players external devices are really cheap these day, like can buy new one for $40.
This usually means the laser is damaged or our of alignment; DVD player will need to be replaced. It can also be incompatible media - not all DVD players can read all brands of DVD+R ot DVD-R discs.
Check DVD discs for cracks, big scratches, dirts and grims? All DVD dics are original discs like comercial movies or materials discs? Most DVD players have problems, reading and playing copy discs, because of it finaling codes of the DVD copy recoders players used it to coping it.
either the disc you inserted hasn't got a menu. the only thing DVD's do this is because there is no Menu provided in the DVD DISC. In the other case, where it remains "read" the disc might not be clean, scratched, dusty or simply incompatible with your DVD Player. Always clean discs before and after playing them in your DVD Player. Hope this helps, good luck!
Does it happen for all dvd disc or some particular dvd disc. If it is with some particular disc then clean the dvd and try them. If the problem exist for all the dvd then try to clean the lens by dvd lens cleaner and try to play. dvd lens cleaner will be available in dvd stores.
anyone having problem sharp aquosbluray reading disc just call 1-800-be-sharp to update your player you will need a computer and a usb 2.0 drive , so you can load update from computer to drive then pull drive from computer to the back of player load load it to player , they tell you all you need to know
are they bootleg dvd's? if not try getting a lense cleaner because wrong disc means it's reading your dvd's as .mov files which only play on quicktime in a computer. if it reads your cleaner as wrong disk too then get yourself a refund cuz it has a motherboard malfunction.
Same here!!! We've only used it maybe 8 or 9 times. And it's been worthless for the past month because of it. It reads everything "no valid disk" and nothing will work. And I tried e-mailing customer support several times, with no luck.
