The numbers don't show on the microwave.

Sometimes you can see a faint glow of parts of numbers, but usually there is no time visible and no numbers count down when we start the microwave. The microwave works fine, but we have to guess on the timing.

Bosch hmt8656gb microwave doesn't always start

The problem is in the keypad control board and usually means it must be replaced to fix the problem, and the part alone is expensive.

I obtained a Grohe replacement faucet head (kitchen) - part number 46298IE). The box contains (besides the faucet head) two small round cylinders (white); one has a green end; the other is white with a...

Thanks for the info about the lifetime warranty, who knew? The two parts mentioned are flow control valves that get inserted at the base of the sprayhead, not the in the hose. The green one says "water care" which will restrict flow more than the white one. It's an either or scenario, not both. There is a VERY faint arrow that points up toward the top of the nozzle. Push it all the way up and reconnect the hose tightly. That's it. My replacement didn't come with a wrench, did that come with the original faucet?

One more thing, if you bought a house that has this and don't qualify for the lifetime warranty, don't get stuck paying $100-$150 for this part if you just need to replace the aerator. The gray head that the water comes out twists out with a wrench revealing the aerator. The part number is 13929 or sometimes referred as 1392900, $10-15, if you can find it.

My problem is top door switch.what is it called or what number for this part so i can order it.

Go to Sears's website and use the partsdirect section. It will ask you for make and model and usually shows a diagram with part names and numbers. I use their site all the time and it hasn't failed me yet.

Sensor shows F6

The F6 error is indicating a stuck relay on the microwave control board.
Without knowing the age and frequency of usage,
It may just be a pitted contact on the relay, but usually they are soldered in place, and are not serviceable unless you are handy with a soldering iron and the safety factors with taking the metal shroud off a microwave.
sometimes... and this is sometimes...a good jarring will shake the contact loose.
I don;t know if this is a electro-mechanical relay or a solidstate relay... either way... if it sticks once, it will stick again...

Sharp microwave r610dsa - display faint - barely visible.

We regularly repair such control units for customers nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week or so with a one-year guarantee.

We have the full service manual at our site, which contains the specific safety & disassembly information you'll need here.

If you decide to send yours in for repair, we would really need the front door panel assembly (which contains the keypad, display board and connecting cable) as well as the power board to which the cable connects, as shown in the manual.

If you prefer, you can order part number DPWBFC212WRKZ (CPU/display unit) for $73.33 plus shipping from Encompass here or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number from the tag on the unit) for more information & help.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Beeping and P3 shows

I would assume that trouble code is F3?

F3 on a GE / Hotpoint microwave means you have a shorted membrane keypad.

If the oven is coming on or doing anything by itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.

So until it is repaired, please leave it unplugged or leave the door open when it's not in use, and please do not leave it running unattended.

If you (or someone you know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically involved.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.

If you would like to have us do this repair for you, we do that for $39.95 plus part costs.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your model number) for more information & help.

On the screen it shows F4, and F3

F4 means an open humidity sensor, but sometimes this error is bogus and can be reset by unplugging the oven for a minute or so.

Sharp R-630D

Hi, sorry fixya site is having some problems the experts are not recieving the emails with your response so we have to do it the long way and it takes ages going through all the posts we have helped on.

Ok then if the display is faint then the chances are its going to be the lcd display thats the problem as the display is working its just not lit up so replacing this will solve your problem but its not an easy job to do and is extremely dangerous microwaves are one of the riskiest things to work on as they give of radiation so breaking any seals can cause damage to anyone standing next to the microwavy.

The display is usually lit up showing the numbers but as you can see them faintly this tells us the circuit is okay and not shorting so its not anything drastic but replacing would be difficult.

If the inside is fine where the runners are then the chances are it would be worth getting repaired but if the paint has worn away or any rust is visible then the safest option is to replace it ok.
Let me know if you need further assistance ok
