I switched on my Nuvi 350 after a week and i am facing following issues:
- Not able to acquire satellite even after 1 hour in car
- Not able to play MP3 songs (no sound)
- Not able to run on battery power. If i take out the car charger, it shuts off immediately.
I tried following solution: 1) updated with latest software ver 4.60 and 2) reset the unit.
But all the problems are still there. Can you pls help me with a solution?
Thanks
Just solved the same problem on my N?vi 350. Looks like my unit had a bad day, because it WAS a software problem. This is what I did:
Press and hold the upper right corner off the main screen.
Go next, next ... till you reach the audio test page. There you can try several thing. What worked for me was the Test Frequencies button - and then Play. Suddenly there was sound again :)
Best Regards
Karin

Doing a soft reset on the nuvi will usually get the nuvi up and running. If there is a reset button on the
bottom, press and hold it until the nuvi powers back on. If it does not
have the reset button on the bottom, slide and hold the power switch to
the left for at least 10 seconds. Also running the Garmin WebUpdater and reloading the latest update will resolve most issues. Download and Install WebUpdater.
I am having the same problem with my nuvi 350 and its about the same age. I read on another post it may need a new battery but you need to send it to garmin. I am going to contact garmin directly.
Hi Bob,
You need to do a complete reset by turning it on and at the same time press the bottom right hand corner of the screen this will reset it to factory condition. having done that when you switch it on again leave some where where it has a clear view of the sky and leave it for about 1/2 an hour. This should sort it out for you. Best of luck.
you may need to reset it, as in resetting the c340, turn off and then press back on again, if this does not work maybe the reset button is in the same place as it is on my c340, instructions for the c340 is as follows: place your thumb nail in the groove located under the Garmin logo on the face plate, gently pull off the face plat, press the reset button, turn the unit back on and hopefully it will operate normally
I had the same problem with my Nuvi 310. Found a solution in here that works. Here's a copy of the advice.....note you will need to get in the car and set it for a destination and go. 5-10 mins later the Garmin Nuvi will lose the satellites, but don't adjust it it, leave it on and keep going. Eventually after about an hour it will right itself, pick up the satellites and evrything will be back to normal.

The unit appeared to have "stuck" in this acquiring mode. The following worked for me: 1) open the GPS antenna 2) press the bottom left screen while holding the power button to turn the unit on 3) enter maintenace mode 4) select diagnostics 5) clear error report, do NOT clear any user data 6) restart unit the usual way
My GPS 350 was able to acquire satellite signal in less than 1 minute after the above steps were taken.
