Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3i Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Black Screen Phone is only 1 week old. Motorola sent it as a replacement. Worked with my t-mobile sim for about 4 days. Both screens went black. Definitely NOT water damage. Phone continued to work (receive or send calls)but screens black. Now, keypad lites up then cycles on & off about every 15 seconds. Tried the earlier suggested fix #* and on--Nothing. Is it possible that the phone needs to be recognized by t-mobile?

Motorola razr v3 display went out

Either your flex cable is broken or came loose. Is the top left hinge button still intact? Is it loose at the hinge? You will need a Torx 4 screwdriver to take the LCD screen apart to check the flex cable inside.

Screen blacked out, need to download to sims card.

Use Motorola Phone Tools (MPT) to backup your phone to a computer. You can reload to a new phone if you have to go that route. From what your describing you just need to replace the flex cable.
