Question about Canon PowerShot G2 Digital Camera

Cannon G2 My display screen on my cannon g2 is acting squirly. It will only become visible if I open it and tilt it at an odd angle. Unfortunately if I'm taking pictures I can't see the screen with the angle it has to be at to show the display. Is there a simple fix I can do or is my camera fubar? Please help. Thanks, Erin

A Fubar - whats does that mean - but your camera looks like it is one. A new camera I suspect is the next thing to buy But check Canon customer support- they may have a remedy for 'Fubars'

It is a logic problem or at least electrolytic capacitors that dim the display too far. The display could be repaired if it isn't a ic (logic) problem if it is then you need the whole display replaced

My Asus eee pc netbook screen will turn pink or black when screen is tilted at certain angles. How can I fix this problem as it is becoming more and more bothersome.

Try to open it carefully, and all you have to do is to stick some strong adhesive tape to the LCD cable that is connected to the LCD screen. Try the difference with power on pc and try to push smoothley with finger.

My Samsung LCD television is fixed on a wall, the picture is clear while watching it sitting on a sofa but the display is a photo native while watching it sitting on the floor, please help.

Unfortunately this sounds like a limitation of the display itself. If your wall mount can tilt, you can tilt the TV down, but viewing angles on LCD's often have limitations in the extreme up/down/left/right positions.

My laptop display becomes unusable when moving the display. There is only one angle that the display will work

This indicates that the wire bundle running through the hinge has been compromised. Some wire has frayed apart and is making intermittent contact with itself or the lid movement is causing the wire bundle to pull on one of the video connectors.

In order to fix this problem, you will need to remove the notebook's front hinge cover & check the bundle of wires connecting the motherboard to the LCD screen. If this bundle of wires is damaged, then you will have to get it replaced.

Laptop screen only displays images if screen is tilted at a 45 degree angle. At more or less than this angle, the screen only displays horizontal yellow lines. Please help.

It seems like a LCD screen problem, contact ur dealer / service center for replace / repair! :(

Cannon A530 View screen has gone blank

Usually this is beacause you press the button "visible", all camera have this button to choose the visible model of the LED, you can turn off it to save power to take more photos by view sight from the small sight window above the screen.

I just replied you and here once again...

Please pull front speaker grill and find focus block, fixed at corner having 6 control knobs on it.
Find Blue Screen control knob there.
Put your TV in AV mode to get dark screen and just press Display button on remote to have AV display.
Now slightly rotate control knobs counter clock wise until thin lines (retrace) disappear. Job is done and put back speaker grill, press display button again to disappear screen display.
