Processing Standards (FIPS) code, easily available online or by calling 1-888-NWR-SAME (1-888-697-7263), will cause the receiver to only alarm for your intended area.
The first thing I would check is the wiring to the oil pressure sending unit. It is most likely located in the oil filter mount or somewhere in that area. Chances are, the small wiring harness may have been bumped loose or cracked recently when the oil was changed. It all looks well with the wiring, consider changing the sending unit. Hope this helps!
You can get the manual for your radio at Radioshack.com. Enter your model number in the search field at the top of the home page at that site. The fips codes for your area can be found at radioreference.com. They may even be included in your manual. I know they are listed in the manual for my pro 164 scanner.
