Question about Canon CFX-L4000 Plain Paper Laser Fax
How do I clear documents in the memory.
To clear recieved faxes from memory that are not printed out after a print failure. Perform the following. Lift the panel press data registration then press #. Press the down arrow to test and press set and set again. this will perform a memory test and wipe out the contents that hold the documents while leaving the speed dial memory.

sir, its simple if you want to clear all the docs received. but its difficult if u just want one doc to vanish. To clear everything just remove power cord and communication media for 5 minutes. Hope this solves you problem.

try by pressing function and then data registration and set/ok!It will say user settings and use the arrows up/down to scroll to printer settings, press set/ok and scroll to paper size, press set/ok and if its on a4 use the arrows to get to LTR and press set/ok!If that works then u will need to have the registration sensor at the back looked at as it is most likely not falling into position after the paper has passed it!Good Luck and remember to vote PSE!!
