Don't waist your time.....do what I have just done. I took the advice from another posting from this site. Take the battery off and give it a good couple of thumps to the base where the battery was & presto......all working. It appears to be a chip set problem not humidity (in my case). We just saved ourselves $$$$$ Thank you very much!!!

Tools needed. Zip lock bag. Sillica packs from shoe boxes or find somewhere to buy more... SImply seal with the camera and wait a couple days. This will suck the dew out. :) DO NOT USE HEAT like from a hair dryer or anything like that. Too hot for a cam to handle.

Thanks for your continued attempts to fix the problem.
As per your indications, I put the camera with the sillica staff and I'll leave it there for a few days to see if that suchs the dew out.
I'll let you know in a few days. Thanks again
I appreciate all the efforts made to solve the problem.
I did the sillica with the camera and not luck. I'll now take the back up battery to see what happens.
Some other suggestions will be highly appreciated.
When I turn on my viewcan z the dew light blanks twice and then the camcorded shuts off
