Charging problems Yesterday I noticed I was down to about 2 bars on my battery so I plugged in the charger and when I checked to see if it was charging it said "unable to charge" my sister also has a razr and we put my battery in her phone and used the same charger and it worked. The battery icon that was on my screen has disappeared. Any ideas?

I have the same problem! My phone is new (refurb), just got it yesterday, warranty exchange. It suggested, on this forum, that I try another charger ... have you found a resolution?

I had the same problem. Take the back off your phone and push down on the battery (the same way you would to install the sim card) so it slides down to make better contact with the battery contacts. I had the same problem and ended up taking a thin piece of paper and sliding it between the battery and the tab at the top of the phone that holds the battery in tight to the contacts.

I have a hp g60, i have a really weird issue. Some times my laptop stops charging suddenly and the small led next to my charging input slot does not show any light. I checked my charger its showing...

Kind of vague. It could be the port on your laptop where the charger plugs into. It could be bad, or could have a bad connection to the motherboard due to use or manufacturing defect. When the charger stops charging then it has to use the battery power. This morning the battery may have had a low charge causing the laptop to shut down. Did you notice the battery's power level before it shut down? If you are wiggling the end of the charger that is plugged into your laptop to get it to start charging again, then that is most likely your problem. Do not wiggle it , for it could fry your motherboard. If that is the case then that port needs to be re-soldered.

Inverting side working fine but charger is not

I had a similar problem at work yesterday.when your charger switches of it assumes that the battery is fully charged, while it is not.this is the solution , switch on you inverter machine and allow it to run, while it is running use a direct current "dc" multi meter a test the voltages of the batteries any one that drops like 3 volts below the normal voltage is bad. Change it and you will notice that the problem will stop. Note that when a battery is bad it takes little time to get it charged than when it is in a good condition .

My samsung cell phone gives no indication when charging so I donot know whether is charged or not.The problem is the charger or the mobile phone? It indicates only the bar which requires charging but when I...

There are 3 solutions to your problem.
1) You need to replace your phone's battery, or
2) You need to replace your charger. (If you have a car charger, try it to determine if your home charger is the problem) or
3) you need to have the charging plug on your phone repaired; it will need to be sent in for service.

My samsung phone has been fully charged. I try to turn it on, it says "initializing," then shuts down. When unplugged, it won't turn on at all. When plugged in, it shuts down, then blinks to the charging...

Are you sure it was fully charged before? Could you see the full battery bars?

It sounds like your AC adapter (the charger) has likely gone bad. The phone battery probably wore down, and when you plugged it into the charger, the charger couldn't charge it, so the battery remained dead.

Since the battery is not charged, you can't turn the phone on at all when it's not connected to the charger. And when you do connect it to the charger and turn it on, you get the intermittent charging because something inside the adapter has a faulty connection -- sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

You can easily verify if the charger is the problem by getting a new charger (they're not too expensive) and seeing if the phone will work and/or charge with the new charger.

If the new charger doesn't fix the problem, post again here and we'll go from there, but I think the new charger will take care of it.

Hope that helps!

Lg ks360 battery problem,, charge it up fully and battery dies in 2 hours my phone is dead in the morning when i left it the night before with only one bar of the battery down. What can i do to solve this...

Im not sure if this goes for phones...
But I noticed that when you get something with a charger and you seem to over-charge it (Leaving it constantly plugged in or charging it for long periods of time after its fully charged) it actually makes the life of the object shorter....

It could be that because you've been leaving it over night to charge its been eating at the LGs battery...

But like I said, im not sure...
Obviously you can't fix something like that...

I got the same problem. I even tried to plug the battery to the second battery charging slot, still couldn't get it back to life. But the Ipaq screen lights on with progress bar progress for about 5 seconds, then dead again. I even doubted the battery was toasted.
I gave it a final shot:
1. Remove the battery, and then put it back.
2. While the screen lights on, within 2 seconds, cold reset the unit by press the hole with stylus and push the power button at top in the same time.
In my case, the progress bar will keep going until I see the tap screen instruction and everything back to normal. But it reminds me that the removable battery is totally discharged. So I put it in cradle and I am able to synch it with my PC. Everything seems o.k. while it sits in the cradle, except the charging light won't turn red.
When I remove it from the cradle, it still lights on, battery shows 99% which is healthy. but when I turned it off, it won't start anymore. I have to repeat the above steps to revive it. Sometimes I have to remove the battery and wait for a while and then put it back, so that the screen can light on to give me chance to cold reset.
Conclusion: Maybe need a new battery. I will check Ebay to get one.
Please post if you have other solutions.

Wont charge or is locked

if you plug the charger in and you can see the battery bars going up and down then it is phone problem if the scrren is blank then it is either the charger but if you have a car charger aswell and both chargers worked before then it is probably the phone that has a problem check where the charger plugs in that their is nothing blocking the terminals like fluff or bit of paper check that none of the terminals are bent or coroded if you have used phone in rain they might have got coroded this can be solved by cleaning the terminals on the charging part of the phone but be carefull when you do this not to wreck any thing check the charger make sure nothing bent or blocking the charge the problem with these phone is the pins on the bottom where the charger plugs in these get damaged really easily and they can be replaced but will have to take to phone shop and get repaired hope this is some help to you....................................
