Canon mx860 won't connect to network - NetGear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router

With the Canon MX860 you can removed the print head assembly quite easily and clean it with water. I have posted a youtube video for your reference.

Verify the ink level and perform in the mantenace mode head cleaning.

This model printer has only a USB connection to a computer and cannot be setup as a wireless printer without additional wireless networking equipment.

Yeah look like you have dsl and in that case you need a filter to go on that line so it will filter out you dsl connection so the data will pass threw.


I has two plugs one for you dsl modem and one for you fax or voice...

if you have one of these make sure there on all lines even the fax line, if you do have one then it needs to be changed out as it is bad.

Use your operating system to choose the printer rather than the driver.
For Windows XP, go Start, Settings, Printers and Faxes. Right click on the printer and choose Set as Default Printer.

Switch to telephone priority mode. Hook your answering machine to the other phone jack on the printer.

Anybody find an answer to this problem? Windows 7 same problem Excel 2003??
