I have just got a motokrzr-k1 as gift. But as I put my Sim Card inside, I got an error message saying: "Contact Service Provider". I contacted telecommunication service in my country; they told me that there is no problem with their service and my cell phone, itself, may have a problem does not letting me make phone calls.
Do you have any idea in this case?!
Thanks in advance

the driver was not installed properly. Motorola has downloadable drivers on their website. check with them for dowload instructions. If you still have trouble you may want to install motorola phone tools. It is synchronization software by motorola. costs about $30
I will suggest contacting your service provider.
lets say if this phone was from cingular and it got unlocked, and then you try to use it with a T-mobile Sim card. chances are that the phone will not function with all T-mobile features. and this because the unlocked phones may still have internal settings from its previous carrier. " If Any" or just need updates for the current service provider. so it will be good to contact your service provider and ask them if they can provide any updates for this phone to send and receive picture messages.
Any questions Please ask.
