1. Download the MP Tool software to your computer. The download file comes in a compressed ZIP file that must be extracted using a ZIP file-extraction program. Once you have downloaded the MP Tool zip file, double-click on the file to extract the "MPtool.exe" executable program.
2. Turn on your printer and double-click the "MPtool.exe" file.
3. Click on the "Reset Main" button listed under "Waste Ink Counter," in the MP Tool program screen.
4. Click on the "Reset Platen" button and exit the program to complete the process.
I have never used any resetters. I'm not even sure they exist. Perhaps those who do large quantities use them, but I only do them one or two at a time. I just fill the cartridges and continue to print.
