Question about Canon BubbleJet i70 InkJet Photo Printer
Recently, I flew from Hawaii to Italy with my laptop and Canon i70, having removed the ink cartridges from the printer before the flight so they won't leak and make a mess during transit. Now when I turn it on, the plastic lip under the paper feed section clatters like a rattlesnake for a few seconds and then the printer's orange error light starts flashing. I get an error message on the laptop "error 5c00." Then the printer locks up. Can someone tell me if my printer had kicked the bucket, or could it be repaired? I stocked up on printer cartridges that I hate to waste them. I appreciate your advice.
Hi, didn't find anything in regards to the error code you mentioned. The flashing error light i did find something on though. The kind of error depends on how often the orange error light flashes (any # from 2 -10). You can read up on it in the user manual. Tom

Even here you need to be careful
to download the correct software for your PC. Please Click on "Drivers and Software" and then from the "Chose Operating System" dropdown menu Select "Windows 7".
Here you will get the
details of the driver software you want to download and also with the
'Download' button. Just chose the
software and click on 'Download' button to download the exe file to your PC.
Here you will be asked to select location for download. Chose a preferable
location that is easy for you to access. Now after the download double click on
the exe file to install the driver software and reboot your system.
