My problem is that when i turn on the ps3 and the tv, and i know i am DEFINATELY on the right input, the tv doesn't show the picture. I have gotten a new hd cord that goes into hd tv's from the ps3, and the ps3 turns on fine. I think it is the little port that goes into the ps3, and i think the ps3 got knocked down and the cord damaged the port the is in the ps3 that holds the hd tv cord. It's not the tv, cause i have tried it on 3 different tv's and it hasen't worked on any of them. Over the last few day's it has been getting worse, because before i used to see like a bunch of fuzzy lines going back and forth, and could slightly see the picture. I also have tried going back to the old cord, and that didn't work ether. Sombody tell me what's wrong, or i am oing to have to fish out 500 bucks to buy a new one, and i don't feel like doing that.

Not an expert on PS3 but I'll try. Does your tv support the HD setting the PS3 is on? Does it support the frequency it is on? Frequencies can be 50Mhz and 60Mhz. HD setting could be 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p. If you cannot change the setting because you cannot see the settings to do it, refer to a proffesional to find out how to do it without being able to see a picture.
