Question about NEC Versa SX Notebook

Nec Versa Notebook -- no sound

We have an older Nec Versa Notebook which we want to load with games for our little boy but though everything appears to be working, we can get no sound out of the thing.

my notebook could did not have driver for NEC Versa L2200 [audio]...i already search it but none of it work..help me to find my driver..that would help..plezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

A friend gave me this Nec Versa LX laptop with '98 on it. Yes I know it's old but... I wiped the hard drive and found all the RIGHT drivers for Windows 98 SE. Everything is running well except I get no...

Wipe the drive again and then install Linux Lite on it. Then everything will work fine. Be sure to install the i386 version so there won't be any compatibility issues with hardware.

Most likely you mistaped your model number.

Here are all drivers for your notebook

Click on Notebook->L Series->Versa L320

Then click Downloads

Ur problem is with the drivers only , nothing with ur H/W.
Find the appropiate drivers, uninstall the older one , restart, install new and again restart it.
