If this is always happen to your camera and then try to warm the camera using a hair blower you should open the lid cover of the mechanical.......... turns off the camera and unplugged the ac adaptor..if you using the battery take it out ... then place your hand to the mechanical to sense the heat of the camera when you using the hair blower and when you feel too hot then stop the blower.... doing this must not exceed 20 second...... then wait at least 1 minute to cold down the camera and put the adaptor or the battery then power on the camera.... if you doing this and nothing happen....i suggest you to go to the service center for replacing the dew sensor....
Dew is likely to form in the following circumstances: ?When moving the camcorder from a cold place to a warm place. ?When placing the camcorder in a cold room which is then heated rapidly. ?When moving the camcorder outdoors from an air conditioned room or car. ?When placing the camcorder in the direct path of air blowing from an air conditioner. ?When placing the camcorder in a humid room. Dew will gradually form on the head drum of your camcorder and make the video tape stick to the head. This causes damage both to the head and the tape. When dew forms, recording and playback may not function properly. When ?DEW? flashes, remove the cassette, leave the cassette compartment open, and wait for a few hours to allow the camcorder to acclimatise to the surrounding temperature. To use the camcorder again, turn on the power after waiting for a few hours. Be sure that ?DEW? has disappeared. Do not insert a cassette while ?DEW? is flashing; this may result in damage to the tape.
The "DEW" error indicates that moisture has formed within the camera. Under these conditions the tape can stick to the rotating record head and if you try to use the camera damage to the tape and or player may result. If the DEW error has still not cleared after leaving open in a dry place overnight then it is likely that either the DEW sensor in the camera is faulty or the unit itself. If the DEW error has gone I would try a new tape first and see if that works. Do not try and play the damaged tape as you risk damaging the camera. If the tape is valuable then you can try rewinding the tape completely from end to end a couple of times (to re-tension the tape) then playing it or taking it to a shop and have them recover the tape.

As per your indications, I,ve left the camcorder open and hopefully in a few hours it will work ok. I,m crossing my fingers!
If you can please as a last attempt, let me know some other and final way which I can use before i take it to therespairman. thanks
Cassette holder does not want tpo close. Camcorder was working ok when suddenly it showed that I must eject tape. I did and then there was some loose tape, I fixed it, tried putting the tape back in again and that is when the problem occurred. I can not get to close the casette holder door.
\Thanks kindly
