I would like to fit the new door gasket to my machine but I dont know how to remove the old gasket and put new one in . Please help Thank you
Thank you gittos73.
It's as gittos says. When you open the door and look inside, at the very top of the door is a white square. This holds the metal clip. If you push the little white dot in the middle of this clamp gently, it gives way and you will see the round metal clip that goes all the way round the door rubber (gasket). Remove this and you can put your fingers round the gasket and pull it toward you.
Then take the lid off the machine and you will see a 6mm nut with a spring behind it and a wire clip similar to the front one, going round the gasket where it attaches to the drum. This has a crosspoint (phillips type) head on it and you can get a small screwdriver into it and undo it all the way. Then slide the gasket off and it will come away.
Fitting it is the reverse but it is a little bit tricky as you have to get the gasket behind the lip to make the seal. Take your time and they will both go round properly.

To fit your new door seal you open the door there is a clamp holding front off door seal on,this is around the lip of it once you have taken this clamp off the door seal will just need pulling off the front and you will be able to push this into the inside of the drum now take the lid of look to the inside front of your washer were the seal attachs to the drum u will see a clamp around it undo that and then your dor seal will pull out now reverse the order in which u took it of and replace the seal once u have done it u will find it easy the next time m8

I recently fitted a new door seal for a friend but they beleive that the seal should be positioned differently (they say it is leaking and there is a drain hole which should be at the bottom) Is there a specific position that the door seal should be in?
