Re: Hold switch stuck
Here's the link to sandisk support contacts;
They generally ask you to send the player to them.
If you can't get what you need there, please post back with at least a general location and we could probably find a service centre near you.
Hope this helps :)

Hi, Hold switch operates by sliding its cover little bit and if you slide cover all the way, usb port will pop out. Slide cover few times that might fix stuck hold switch inside. Hop this info will help you. Thanks
I'm pretty shure, the hold switch is broken, and it is stuck in hold mode. Only replacement will work. (But, also, check if the plastic button doesn't fit with the switch, an then, is not switched by the plastic button)
Power & Hold switch
Slide and hold in the opposite direction
of the arrow for power on/off.
Slide in the direction of the arrow to
lock the button functions.
If that fails,
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
