Hello TV experts, Im hoping somebody could be kind enough to help me. I recently bought a Sony KV-32FS100 TV, and in transport (ie-trunk of my car) I managed to crack the "A" circuit board (part# A-1300-633-A). I definitely have to replace this board, but brand new it seems to go for $300+!!! (please note that I only paid $200 for the TV!). I already paid $60 for a repair guy to take a look, so now Im $260 in the hole and still can't watch TV. Does anybody know anywhere possible that I could find this circuit board in used condition, for hopefully under $300!! The repair guy I had over said I should be able to find it for about $150. But I have been searching up and down the internet and haven't found it anywhere. I suppose my best bet would be to call places that sell replacement parts for TVs that have been salvaged from damaged TVs, but I have no idea where to locate such places. Please note, to complicate matters, I am located in Montreal, Canada. Please Help! I am slowly dying without TV and can't afford to drop another $300! Maybe someone reading this also has this TV in broken condition and would be willing to sell me this board? :) Thank You! Brian [email protected]
Hi, An alternative, you might want to try to find a tech who is willing to stitch (hardwire) the board assuming of course that it is just PCB crack and no major components are defective/gone. Though this is labor intensive, it might be faster or while waiting for the replacement. Good luck.
