Mower decks are very specific to the tractor. Unless it was the same manufactured mower, and just branded differently, then not likely! Belts are your next problem as even an inch longer or shorter will cause problems.

Maybe this will help.The mower deck part # 165892. Mower Deck Assembly 42" I not sure of the model # . I also don't know your tractor's model # either. This part # for the 42" mower deck,is installed on a 18.5 HP Craftsman Lawn Tractor. I believe there isn't any difference between a model !8.5 HP and a model 20.0 HP, tractor when it comes to a mower deck. B.Locke

This video shows several belt patterns for various mowers. I am assuming you are wanting the deck belt and not the drive belt. 4 seconds into the video is the standard craftsman 42 inch belt path. The belt at the bottom is put on the engine pulley. Tip from my own experince make sure that the belt is under the belt guides or you will ruin a belt in short order. Your model number is under the seat and is also a scanable barcode. Another tip is to snap a photo of your model numbers. This is handy when you need parts. did you put the blades on right ??? they have a star pattern and it needs to be lined up correctly... if that's ok does the belt have a bad spot in it or is the engagement mechanism operating correctly ???

Do a search on goggle for the make model and deck size and you can see the routing diagram.

get a cheater bar some good leverage or an impact wrench

To replace blades, belts, sharpen blades, etc. one must remove what is called the cutting deck from the tractor.
Once the deck is off the tractor, pull it out, turn it over and you can work on the blades.
