Sound problems: Check your settings to be sure they are all correct, i.e. volume, mute button. Listen to a music file and record something with sound to ensure that all other speakers in/out are working correctly. Locate the speakers and be sure that they are clean and not obstructed by a case or foil. Try the above again with headphones on. Also, check you battery power to be sure that it is fully charged. If you locate a speaker that does not work or you cannot replay a recorded video, then your phone may need to be serviced. Before you decide this though, ensure that you have a backup of your data and then restore it to factory settings. Then use your phone without the backup to see if it is functioning normal; have someone call you and retry anything else (video, music) that didn't work before, if it still doesn't work, then it will definitely need to be repaired.
The 2060-2 does have speakerphone ability. Simply press the speaker button during the call to switch between speakperphone and "normal" modes. The speaker button is at the lower-right-hand corner of the keyboard, marked with a speaker icon, located below the # key.
You can download the manual from the manufacturer's web site at http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/DECT2060-2om.pdf
Yes, there is a speaker option. Holding the phone in your hand look down to the lowest row of buttons - below the * 0 # buttons. There are four buttons: from left to right they are SPEAKER; PAUSE/REDIAL; REMOVE/MUTE; and, INT (INTERCOM.) Pressing the left/SPEAKER button one time turns on this feature. Pressing this button turns OFF this feature. Hope this was helpful.
Had the same problem, turns out it was my Vonage service alerting me to a new message -- I had a Vonage voice mail. When I logged into my Vonage account and deleted my message, my "speaker button" stopped blinking
there is a button on the side of the phone with a picture of a speaker on it, it is right under the camera button. if you hold the button with the speaker down for a few seconds the speaker phone will turn on, make sure the phone is open when you do this and you follow the same steps to turn the speaker back off
this phone will only go into speaker phone mode while a call is connected press the center feature button to turn it on and off.once it is in speaker mode you can adjust the volume with the buttons on the side
There is a speaker button on the side of the phone just below the camera button. I believe if you hold down the speaker button for a few seconds it should turn off.
Actually the phone is a pink Motorola Razr V3m
