Question about Alpine CDA-9835 CD Player
Hi, if it is a new installation, possibilities are: 1. too tight, unit is partially squeezed preventing the CD from ejecting; or 2. internal problem, mechanical failure. Both requires that you slide it out of the bracket and test it outside the holding bracket but with the wires still connected. If the unit operates outside of the bracket/holder, then it's too tight, if it still does not work, then it is an internal problem which would require that you bring it back to the dealer for replacement or repair. If for whatever reason you would venture to opening it yourself or if you feel comfortable with tinkering, opening the top cover of the car stereo would expose the inside mechanism. Sometimes there is a latching lug or locking system that needs to be removed prior to actual installation. Sometimes, it's just plain r^r remove/reinstall. Hope this gives you some ideas and work out for you. Pls post again how things turn up. Good luck and kind regards.
