HELP....phone reads "enter sim card" when sim card is in the phone

I have hardly ever used this phone since i use my other one mainly. I decided that i would switch phones, and so i charged this one, and put the sim card in after it was done, turned it on and it read "enter sim card". I tried taking the sim card out and putting it back in, and i tried turning the phone off and back on, but it always reads the same thing....any suggestions?

YOU HAVE TO CLEAN THE GOOLD COATED TERMINALS WITH A SPIRIT WERE THE SIM ENTERS AND ALSO CLEAN THE SIM WITH DISTILLED WATER OR SPIRIT DUB DONT RUB.DONE BY DOGY

The small gold contacts cannot be touching the sim card correctly use a small pin to **GENTLY** raise the pins and wipe the sim card with alcohol replace it into the phone and it should work.

PUK code problem

PUK code means Personal Unblocking Key. It is used to verify if the person trying to access a sim is the real owner of the sim card. It is mainly a way to protect a sim card from being used wrongly by a person that does not own the sim. If a wrong code is entered three (3) times on a phone, then the sim gets automatically blocked and begin to request for the PUK code.

The PUK code is mainly found on the starter kit where the sim was taken out from. When you bought your sim card, it came in a pack, on the pack there is a card that looks like a credit card, where the sim card is originally attached.

On the card, there are some codes on it, like the mobile number along side the sim pin number and a 8 digit PUK code. That is the code that is required on the phone.

Once you enter it, the phone will ask for a new pin code for the sim, then you enter it, it will ask you to re enter the pin code, then the sim will be unblocked.

But if you do not have the Pack any more, please do not panic, all you need to do is to contact the customer care or help center of the sim service provider and ask them for the code, they will give it to you after asking some simple security questions about the sim card.

Unblocking sim card

Hello,

The step to take is for you to enter the PUK number of the simcard so it will enable you to get ***** to your sim card,Firstly PUK means, personal unblocking key. It is simple to get it off the phone. The PUK can be found mostly in the pack where you took out the sim card of the phone from. You will see some codes on the pack of the sim, there you will also see the PUK code, enter it and it will ask you to enter a new security code. Then you enter it and the sim will be unlocked.

PUK mainly blocks the sim card from working on the phone. you can use a new sim card on the phone and it will work perfectly fine.

If you do not have the sim pack, you can contact the customer care or help center of the sim card and they will give you the PUK code. try that with another phone.

If the Phone shows Invalid Sim message means it locked to some Network,find out the Country,it's network it locked now ..then get the Unlock code from here

Hi , When I turned my phone on this morning , ( LG xneon) it said enter pin code so i geussed all the codes I have ever used on that phone and none of them worked. Then it said enter PUK Code and I tried...
